Chess lessons for children in Bucharest 16

Most chess teaching in Bucharest is aimed at children of school age. The four centres of the Academia de Șah in Sectors 1, 2, 3 and 5 take children from an early age in groups by level, and the school of the university chess club teaches children and adults on Calea Șerban Vodă. Club groups for children run at The Square in Sector 2, at Chess Station in Sector 4, at the Mihail Marin club in Sector 6, at CS Oxigen and at ChessMasters.

Outside Bucharest, Șah Puf Junior teaches in Otopeni on weekday evenings. Șah în Școală takes chess to offices, parks and public buildings, and clubs such as CS Alcor, CS DLD Kids and ACS Master Mind run junior events. The cards give the ages a page states, the days of the groups and the fees where they are printed.
