Learning chess from the start in Bucharest 10

Every centre of the Academia de Șah groups its pupils by level, so a beginner joins a group of other beginners; the centres are in Sectors 1, 2, 3 and 5, and a single visitor session is possible before enrolling. Club teaching for newcomers is on offer too: The Square with a free first lesson, Chess Station with a single first lesson, and the Mihail Marin club with two beginners’ levels.

CS Oxigen in Sector 2 takes beginners from the age of five, ChessMasters has an enrolment page, and Șah Puf Junior teaches beginners in Otopeni. Prices and ages are on each card as the pages print them.
